How does the Light & Bright treatment work?
Skin naturally changes over time. Small vessels and unwanted dark spots may appear while the youthful, smooth texture disappears. The Light & Bright treatment was designed specifically to meet this need safely, gently, and quickly. This is a dual-action treatment utilizing two advanced technologies. Frax 1550 & 1940 delivers tiny bursts of controlled energy which improves the texture of skin. This technology is TGA-indicated for resurfacing tissue coagulation. Meanwhile, the Ellipse IPL delivers short pulses of intense light, which specifically target melanin (pigmentation) and vessels. The Ellipse technology filters out harmful light rays, making it more efficient and safer than older IPL systems.
About the procedure
The Light & Bright procedure generally takes about 45 minutes or less. It begins with the application of a numbing cream to ensure your comfort. Your provider will then use specialized handpieces to apply Frax 1550 and Ellipse IPL therapeutic energies. You might notice darkening of pigmented spots or sloughing off of skin after treatment. This is normal and only lasts a few days. Then you will see a smooth, fresh, youthful layer of skin emerge! Most patients will need about three Light & Bright sessions to achieve maximum improvement.
